Try us out for Free. The first time is on us. We want you to experience the difference that is Alternative Athletics . Stop by and see what we are about, why our members can't stop talking about us, and if this is the opportunity you've been looking for. We are located in downtown Billings at 808 4th Ave North (big blue door on your right, almost to the Metra).
Our memberships are simple. In our foundations program you will receive one on one instruction in the basic lifting movements that are part of our programming. Nothing complicated, just simple. All of our memberships are for unlimited monthly gym access. We offer the options of monthly billing via recurring direct debit or quarterly billing, payable by cash, check, or card. We offer a 10% discount for military, law enforcement, and both hospitals. And, to help keep you accountable, we also have a Buddy Program with special rates for you and a friend for the first 6 months.
The Foundations. The foundations program covers four one on one individualized training sessions (encourage a friend to join you and save). These sessions are used to teach you the basic lifting movements that make up the daily and individual programming at Alternative Athletics. You will be given personalized instruction on the:
But we don't stop there. As you continue to move through our programming, we will continue to help you develop your skills with the introduction of new movements and make sure that you are comfortable with them. Each movement can be scaled to fit your skill level so that you can complete the programming for the day. Our trainers are available to help you progress at your own pace. If you already have your Crossfit Level One certificate or can demonstrate these movements competently, we will waive these lessons and the initiation fee.
The gym is open from 5:30 am to 7:00 pm on weekdays, so you can come in and do the WOD anytime, on your time. We offer time during the weekend on Saturday at 10:00 am to 12:00 am and Sunday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Private sessions are available by appointment.
A few extra offerings. We offer featured Olympic lifting and Kettlebell classes as well. Weightlifting with USAW Adv Sports Perf Coach Lacey on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 4:30-6pm, Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9:00 am and Saturday and Sunday at 8:30 - 10:30 am.
Kettlebell classes with certified instructor Robyn are Monday and Wednesday evenings at 6:00, and Saturday mornings at 8:00.
