Quick Reminder: Sept 11th

Hey Everyone,

Just a quick reminder that Monday, Sept 11th is a "Fight Gone Bad"
We will be doing this as a charity WOD for VFW Post 117 "Andrew Pearson". There is no minimum buy in, but you have to drop something in the hat to play.

i think of 9-11
just back from a glorious weekend
surfing the Snake in Jackson
we were leaving that week
for nyc
my cousin who lives in manhatten
was getting married
they went to the court house for their license that day
walked outside just in time to see a plane fly in.
my mother was to fly that day into nyc.
where in the midwest will i go pick her up?
they never did fly.
i think of a young man i never knew
who on that day quit his job to enlist
to become a seal
to eventually come back to Billings
to create AA Crossfit
i walked in on day one
i am all in
take my money
teach me
as tragic
as cathartic
as sad
is 9-11
i would not be who i am
if it were not for 9-11
if it were not for one
clint hull
following his instincts
gut reaction to life circumstances
and here we all are
right here
right now
doing what we can
doing
being
influencing each other
in un known ways
go forth
kick ass
show up
maybe not every day
but consistently
be there
feed off one another
me the quiet one in the corner
we are nothing
with out each other
breath deep
ab
